Below is an email from Elain Quinlan...
I have been boarding my Paso Fino "Bobby"
at the Tolissee Farm, since May 2009. I had to board Bobby for many
years - have had several good and not so good experiences. Coming to
Tolissee Farm has been a most pleasing and pleasant place ever. The
feed, care and attention they give to the horses is impeccable.
There is a very gentle approach and love to the horses as well as
their beautiful goats. Jesse, Toni and Lily are the rare people that
live their Christianity. Their truthfulness, honesty is about
approach, their willingness to be helpful is unbelievable. Bobby and
I are so lucky to have found Tolissee Farm - and this special family
- they have become family to us. |

Below is an email from Kimberly Harford, Esperanza's
new owner.
Although we’ve never actually met, your family and
Tolisse Farms will always have a special place in the heart of our family.
It is so evident in Esperanza’s countenance that she has been raised by
truly fine, loving people. She is sharing the love, respect, trust and
gentleness that your family gave to her with our family. A long-empty place
in my heart has been filled by this little mare, and I am truly thankful to
God and to your family for that.
Your attention to even the smallest detail from her
Health Certificate, to her Coggins test, to her PFHA transfer papers, to her
dietary needs made the long-distance purchase go so smoothly it felt
seamless. Your honest assessment of Esperanza and your personal
professionalism in matching her to our needs made purchasing her “sight
unseen” easy. We are already enjoying working with and riding her. I can’t
wait to get a soccer ball and let her teach me how to play soccer! I’ll bet
it becomes a big hit at our barn and I’ll be able to report to you soon that
we have a barn team of our own.
Thank you for your confidence in us as Paso owners
and for entrusting this wonderfully sweet horse to our care.
In God’s care,
Kimberly, Jack, Allyn, and Aubrey Harford

Below is an email from Joe & Kelly Vitorino, Borrasca's
new owners.
We just wanted to say thank you so much for
all the assistance you provided to us during the purchase of
Borrasca. Having to ship a horse across the entire country plus
overseas by airline can be a very stressful situation for all
involved, but with your careful attention to the details, everything
went just perfectly. We appreciated your help to make this
transition so smooth. Borrasca is indeed one of the most loving and
gentle Paso Finos we have ever met. She is now the star of our
lesson and riding program - beautiful, smooth, fun and safe. She has
adjusted so well into our herd, and has made best friends with our
little two year old filly!
We are so very fortunate to have found her
for sale when we did. She is a real gem, and it was a pleasure doing
the sale with you. We wish you much luck in all you do at Tolisse
Farms in the future.

Below is an email from Mrs. Jody Bloom, "Sorpresa de La
Loma"
new owner.
I am more than pleased with Sorpresa. She is a rainbow coated
beauty surpassing all my expectations. I love her soft and trusting eyes and
one-forward-one-back mare's ears.
Her inquisitive yet calm demeanor made our first meeting one of immediate
friendship. I am already calling her "my" horse (as in, "Isn't my horse
gorgeous?")
My dealings with Tolisse Farm and the vetting and purchase of Sorpresa went
along without a hitch. That took some confidence in you on the part of this
buyer from faraway New Hampshire. Your cautious and friendly advice as well
as your honest appraisal of your horses and their suitability inspired the
requisite confidence. Your kindness in referring me to another trainer to
check out other horses helped galvanize my trust in you. Your informative
and professional manner and sense of humor both on the phone and in person
certainly facilitated the decision making process.
I very much appreciate the time you took to make and provide videos.
Watching you and Lily interact with your horses provided a positive insight
into the humane and thoughtful handling of young horses. The videos were
invaluable as they documented the kind and respectful relationship you have
with your horses. Having seen Sorpresa's sire and dam in action I was
assured of the "nature" of her personality; the videos assured me of the
"nurture" component.
I can't stop looking at the photos we took while in Florida.
I wish so much that I did not have to wait so long to bring her home but I
feel confident that it is in her best interest to be in Javier's capable
hands for the coming months. I thank you for referring me to Javier. It was
very reassuring to meet him and the happy horses that inhabit Tesoro Ranch.
I intend to have a long term relationship with Tolisse Farm as you clearly
have a vested interested in Sorpresa de La Loma's future. |

Below is an email from Mr. David Taylor, Fantastico's
new owner, describing his experience with Fantastico a couple of
days after taking him home. "My most beautiful horse in the
world is just fine. He was a bit nervous when we got here last
night but I walked him around and talked to him and he soon
settled in for the night. We spent all morning together and I
rode him for about an hour (slowly) and I spent time with him
this afternoon as well. My wife, Mother and sister and her
granddaughters came to see him and several friends as well and
they all loved him. He really is impressive. Yesterday I was so
nervous and today I couldn't be happier. He is just so sweet;
you can tell he wants to please you. You wonder if I'm happy
with Fantastico and the answer is no....I'm more than just
happy. There were over 100 pictures taken of him today, by
myself, wife and sister; my sister took over 60 alone. He will
be loved and spoiled I assure you."
